Paint with words
The AI art generator turns a short description into artwork in the medium you name. Write "impressionist oil painting of a Paris café terrace on a rainy night" and you get loose brush strokes and glowing lamps reflected on wet stone. Write "traditional ink wash painting of misty mountains" and you get soft gray washes and empty space. Describe the medium, not just the subject
- Name the medium. Oil painting, watercolor, ink wash, charcoal sketch, gouache, digital painting. This changes more than any other word.
- Describe the brushwork. "Loose expressive strokes", "fine detailed linework", "soft washes with visible paper texture".
- Set the color and light. "Muted autumn palette", "glowing yellow lamps", "pastel colors, dreamlike".
- Leave room. Art often looks better with "lots of empty space" or "simple composition" in the prompt.
- Use a style if you prefer. The Oil paint, Watercolor and Poster styles add those words for you.
From screen to wall
Pick the aspect ratio of your frame before you generate: 3:4 or 4:3 for most prints, 1:1 for square frames. When you have a piece you like, send it to the Image Upscaler to get a bigger file for printing. Images made with free credits carry a small watermark; purchased credits remove it.
Limitations
The model paints from your description, so very specific layouts, exact text or many small figures can come out differently than you imagined. Rephrase the part that is off, or generate a few versions and keep the best one.
