Write it like a photographer
- Start with the subject and the action. "An elderly man reading a newspaper at a sidewalk café".
- Set the light. Golden hour, soft window light, overcast, direct flash at night. Light does most of the work in a photo.
- Add the camera. "85mm portrait lens", "telephoto", "aerial drone photo", "35mm film". These change depth of field and framing.
- Keep it believable. Realistic photos look best with ordinary details: worn clothes, steam from a bowl, a slightly messy table.
- Pick the right shape. 3:4 for portraits, 4:3 for products and food, 16:9 for landscapes and banners.
Use photos responsibly
Every person in a generated photo is made up. Don't create images of real people without their permission, and don't present generated photos as real events. Every image includes metadata saying it was made by AI.
Limitations
Hands, small background text and crowded scenes can still come out wrong. If something is off, describe that part more simply, generate another version, or fix it with the AI Photo Editor. Images made with free credits carry a small watermark; purchased credits remove it.
